ECAS

After several weeks of searching for my status on ECAS and not finding anything, I have just foud out why!!!!!! If you are applying from the UK, dont search under UK and territories. Go to England, or Scotland etc. VOILA it was there!!!! I am not sure why they have done it like that, but at this stage I dont care. Its there!!!!! YAY Please pass this on to any one who is from the UK, it will hopefully save a lot of time and frustration.

Actually they usually put in all UK applicants as "England", even those who were actually NOT born in England, but rather Scotland etc. It's rather strange.

It catches so many people out that I added some code to the e-CAS tracker to automatically try likely alternatives for country of birth. It usually just doesn't cross people's minds that they might need to use another country of birth in order to be able to access e-CAS.
