ECAS status changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made"

Hi All,

Today I have noticed that my client application status got changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made". Following is what it shows.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 25, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 27, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on June 1, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 25, 2012.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Can you please help me in understanding what my ECAS status mean?

I have seen some blogs stating that if the medical request wasn't received and the status gets updated to "Decision Made" then it could probably be a negative. Though I have received my medical request but I haven't seen a message as "Medicals Received" before the line "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision" . I am little concerned. Can anyone please clarify me on this?
 
if u have sent the medicals and updated forms on time, then this DM means your PP has been stamped and you should get it shortly !
 
can you please share your time line and other details like visa office,date of medical request,date of pasport and medical package sent to VO ect....then it would be more clear about your status.

@renypaulinj: I could see that both of us received the medical request on the same day i.e. on 8th Nov, 2012. My Visa office is New Delhi and I have submitted my passport and medicals on 26th Dec, 2012.

I am happy to share with you that I received my Passport today with visa stamped on it. The visa was for a duration of 12 months.

congrtulation for visa. may you tell me what is your noc and when u apply. b,coz i received MR on 8th NOV 2012. our MR done on 26 Nov 2012 and we waiting for PP and Decision Made.

Thank you Surinderbanga15. As you you too have received MR and PPR on the same date, most probably your status on the ECAS gets changed in sometime soon. I took me exactly a month to receive my pp.

A quick query: when was your DD encashed? Incase you are not sure can you pls check with your bank?

Sorry guys I am away for sometime and couldn't catch you up..

@jeea: sorry I couldn't reply to you...it's in jan that my dd got encashed...it only took me around 25 days to get my visa after I submitted my fee...

@srivastav: Congrats!!! I guess you might have already got your visa...
 
we see our all backlog file is showing elimination

Dear Backlog Friends,

Last day after 12 pm BD time(Canada time night 1 am) we see our file is showing elimination.
We are not thinking that our file is really canceled (Its temporary out) Following Reason:-

1.Before canceled file our E- status must show DECISION MADE after 1 to 2 week it will be eliminate.
This is not any system in cic direct canceled.

2.Fee Returns for Federal Skilled Worker applicants affected by the backlog elimination measure:
Your FSW application has been terminated by operation of law if:

you applied before February 27, 2008, and
a decision based on FSW program selection criteria* was not made on your application by an immigration officer before March 29, 2012.

3. Still have BEFORE February 27, 2008 Processing times for federal skilled worker applications 83 Month.

4. If 83 month have in cic side so at a time not possible all applicant 2004 to 2008 file elimination.

5. still court decision going to fever to all Backlog person hope this medial of march get final decision positive.

I know one man who apply 2010 and now he got visa waiting to fly Canad his file e status was like us not show any thing and after 3 month he get MR then PR but still his file not show in e-status.

So don't think our file is decision made, Just we need to wait approximately(last time in process out 21 days) next 21 days or within may/jun 2013 then hope we will get a good news inshallaha.
