ECAS "Medical result received"

I got this in my ECAS last friday. Can anybody tell me what has been proceed in my application at that point and how long before any update. Don't consider my VO I just want to have a broad experience of this update. Please share you experience and I hope we will all learn from this. Good luck to all of us.

Almost certainly no processing has been done on your application yet.
"Medical result received" means ONLY that... The results are logged into the system.
The next step could be months away, depending on which VO you are using.

Ecas is different for everyone and every VO

Our visa office had our file for 6 months before our ecas changed to medical received AND in process a week later. 2 weeks after that we got an email asking for the ARC(authorization to return to Canada),which was our final step before receiving the Visa . So clearly they had finished processing nearly all of our file before deciding to update ecas.

But like I said its different for every office and for every person, some officers update a lot and others not at all. I have seen people get their ecas updated after receiving their visa already! lol

I can imagine you know there is thread open for my VO but it was a long time ago and there are not a lot of people from Dakar VO so I'm just trying to have a general idea about when I can expent this all process to end. Some people from Dakar get their PR in 3 months while on CIC website it states that the processing is 23 month So I hope to make it as soon as possible.

It means your passed the medical and they have it.
