eCAS and Background Check in Progress

Hello all,
I've been going though many posts and threads here, trying to figure out if there's a pattern
to eCAS notifications. However it seems number of lines and current status vary a lot.

For example my eCAS looks like this:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on November 3, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 3, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on November 4, 2015.
4. Medical results have been received.

For some, Medical results have been received is the second line.

However, MyCIC Account dashboard shows shows a slightly different status:

Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Medical results: Passed - Nov 5
Review of docs: No additional docs required
Interview : Not needed
Background Check : In progress - Nov 5

Does any update about Background Check appear in eCAS?
And does eCAS show Medicals Passed?

I request all forum members to share their experiences, and timelines here, and provide valuable inputs

I haven't seen any particular patterns in ECAS status. Some people have got nothing in ECAS and got PPR. Some people including me got updates like you. But again in my case I got medical update in ECAS almost 2 months after it actually shown as passed in myCIC. And 'medical results received' means it's passed and nothing to worry about Medicals any more.
