ECA - WES Evaluation of PGD in AI and ML from Applied AI Hyderabad

Hello All, recently Applied AI Course team has partnered themselves with University of Hyderabad to launch a new program called Online Post Graduate Diploma in Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence. This course will be of 38 credits and duration will be 12 months (two semesters), and they are claiming it is approved by University of Hyderabad. Could you please tell what will be the equivalency of this course as per WES? I am an engineering graduate with 6 years of work experience in Data Science field, so if this course is helping me gaining additional CRS points I would happily enroll into it rather than Distance MBA.

@kumar7744 : Their website indicate 32 credits. Per say 32 credits for a PGD should be sufficient and should be recognized be WES. Having said that you can never be sure until someone graduates from the program and gets their WES done because WES can be unpredictable. I did the PGD ML-AI program from IIITB and got WES equivalence there and that program has 36 credits.

Ask them if they have evidence of some student's WES certificate (assuming some students have graduated already). That should confirm it.

Actually this is going to be their first batch starting Jan'21, counsellor has assured me that it will be accepted by WES but wanted to know from someone who knows about these things personally. They are one of the best ML/AI training institute for normal certifications & have collaborated with University of Hyderabad just now. That is why I am leaned towards them, but if I do not get the confirmation I'll rather do distance education from IGNOU (just for degree!) By any chance if you hear about this course, related to WES, from anyone else please do let me know.

Not sure about this exact PGD. But there are few PGDs that are tested and tried and can get you from Bachelors to 2 or more easily. These are WES accredited. We are in the process of getting an evaluation already. It was fast track, based on experience you are exempted from any coursework or exams so you get it in a weeks time.
