As many have suggested WES turnaround time and evaluation seems to be messy. So I am planning to apply it through IQAS. If anybody has done assesment with IQAS or with any other organizations please share your experiences like turnaround time for the assessment, whether they good in evaluating the Indian University degreees etc. My Master's and Bachelor's degree are from Anna university and Madras university respectively. Further once the online assessment application is submitted, whether any time limit is there to send transcipts from the university.( for IQAS/ any other organizations). Please throw some light on the above queries. Thanks for your help and support.

WES has a free degree equivalency tool. Why dont you first put in your qualifications and see what the tentative ECA would be? If you are happy with what WES gives you, then you can go with WES. Or else try CES and IQAS. Unfortunately both CES and IQAS does not have equivalency tools so you never know what you will get till you receive the ECA copy. IQAS is relatively new so not many have used it compared to WES. IQAS promises a 10 day turn around time and most people seem to be happy. With WES, it could take up to 4 weeks or even more. Which ever service you use, please spend more and use the courier service. I know some people used the normal post option and it took months to get the ECA copy!

And there is usually no time limit for you to send the documents from the University. However the sooner you can get it, the better it is! With Canadian immigration, time is money! The more you wait, the more points you lose since age cant be reversed. Also, the first half of the year is usually the lowest scores based on past trends since in the second half of the year, PNP's all start kicking in which tend to push the scores up!
