I've tried to contact the various exam body's with no luck emails ect, someone must have done this before please help.im a refrigeration and air con engineer I live in the united kingdom.

I would like to ask for clarification with regards to the documents to be submitted for ECA (for immigration purposes).

I finished my post secondary education for 4yrs but i did not able to get my diploma due to incompleteness of 3 subjects. I was not able to get back to school that time to complete this incomplete subjects because i am already working abroad. In this case, i would like to know if i could only submit my Transcript of Records for post secondary without Diploma? The University where i attended just issued me a certificate of enrollment indicating that i was enrolled fr 1999-2000. Can i submit this instead of diploma which i do not have.Or can i submit my Secondary Diploma with my post secondary transcript of records?

Kindly advise. Thank you.

Below are the required documents for assessment (Philippines):
Secondary Education

Katibayan (High School Diploma)
and
Transcript of record

Post Secondary Education

All final Diplomas/Degree certificates (e.g. Associate, Bachelor, Master, Ph.D)
and
Transcripts of record

Hi Paul1774,

Did WES assess your City and Guilds qualifications? what did you provide?

What Canadian equivalent they gave you for C&G?

Many thanks

I was about to do the same myself until I did some digging on their website and found a few links deep that they want us the customer to do all the leg work for them however their site very nicely glides you through the process to take your money and send in copies of your documents. It seems the trend after that is to request transcripts and the wait begins.

I've a few NVQ's and ECDL from back home I hoped would be worth something over here as I enrolled in a community college but unfortunately it's probably not. The high school I attended is long gone, I was directed by the dept of education back home to the examination board for GCSE's to get my results who of course wanted $ for their trouble and stated their'd be a wait of us to 28 days or so. The story with trying to get my transcripts for ECDL or NVQ's no one over there has any idea what I wanted or how to give it to me. I got a lot of returned emails with directions to request a new certificate which I don't need. I did contact the college I did my NVQ's and ECDL at and was directed back to the examination board e.g. ECDL - College - BCS - ICS - College - BCS etc.

In the end I've come to the conclusion that I'll have to give up and say ECDL and NVQ's are all but pointless over here, well I'm in the US. I'm going to spend the $80 it costs and $20 for a book sit my GED and be done with the whole thing. The way I see it at the minute it's a month wait for anything from back home and a good $50 - $100 per request. Then WES want a good $205 plus another week to do their part. i can brush up and sit my GED in that time for less money and a lot less hassle. I've trawled the net hoping to find a better answer I got nothing.

Good luck, let us know how things worked out for you.
