ECA Evaluation for PGDM from WES and ICES

Hi guys , have completed my 11 months part time post graduate programme in HR from Welingkars. Can someone suggest which would be the best organisation to get it approved like ICES or IQAS ?? My CRS scores are very low incase if this degree gets approved atleast I can some hope for Canada PR otherwise all dreams of Canada PR are shattered ..

I just received my ECA report from ICES after being turned down by WES for my MBA in Distance Education. However, I am confused as to how do I read my ECA report for the Express Entry file, whether it is "two or more degrees" or "Master's" as it reads "one year master degree for my MBA"

Here are the details:

Credential 1: Bachelor of Business Administration
Comparable level of education in Canada: Three-year bachelor degree

Credential 2: Master of Business Administration - Distance Education
Comparable level of education in Canada: One-year master degree

Kindly help those who have gotten any similar information to this.

i have applied in ICES for masters . and submitted only masters documents? is it ok or do i need to submit bachelor too/

If result si written 1 year masters then select masters in EE profile if not then select 2 or more.. you can share snap shot of evaluation hide youor details or crop it.. i can advice on it

Even i submitted them my masters documents only.. Tehy give me 1 year masters

Hello everyone,

I have completed 2yrs distance PGDM from Welingkar's institute, Mumbai. WES has evaluated it as post graduate diploma from non-recognized institute.

I am planning to again go for ECA from ICES for a positive evaluation.

My questions are-

What are the chances that ICES will evaluate it positively? And will it be evaluated as Post graduate diploma or master's?

What all extra documents should I get from my institute in order to get a smooth evaluation?

Hi everyone,

I have done my 2-years full time PGDM* from an AICTE approved college, and I am in process of sending transcripts of this to ICES, in addition to my Bachelors.
Any idea if I can expect to get Masters for this/ will it still be considered as 2 or more degrees/diplomas/certificates.

*I have a doubt also because, the course is AICTE approved, however, not AIU recognised.

Hi Guys ,
I and my husband have done our MBA FROM IILM New Delhi . They granted us post graduate programme in management.
Wes has not accepted and has only considered our bacehelors .
Does anyone have any idea about whether any other agencey will consider it as masters or not ? IILM was not AICTE APPROVED Wen we did our PGP. Please help .

I completed B.COM 3 years (WES gave 3 years Bachelors in Business Administration) and PGDM Finance as per the Certificate which was 2 years full time from recognized AICTE approved college (It is an autonomous College and Not a University) for which WES gave 4 years Bachelors in Finance. I am considering getting evaluation done by other agencies (CES/ICES/IQAS) to get recognized as Masters.

Query 1 - As per IQAS list below, they compare PGDM to "Master of Business Administration" degree. So it this equivalent to IRCC Masters? https://www.alberta.ca/iqas-education-guide-india.aspx

Query 2 - Do I need to send both B.Com & PGDM for evaluation to IQAS and ICES for getting Masters from them or like CES PGDM degree alone can suffice to get a Masters degree?

Query 3 - CES/ICES which one is faster as well as guarantees Masters degree for Indian PGDM 2 yrs full time, assuming they are faster as compared to IQAS?

Query 4 - Under Education section, can I show Bachelors from WES but Masters from another agency (IQAS/CES/ICES) and still earn points for Masters desgree?

What is your current status?? I am under the same situation as yours so please advise

Hi, i want to apply for immigration to Canada under express entry. I have done my MSc from Umeå University Sweden. I have made an account in WES for documents verification. I have contacted my University to send documents directly to WES, Canada. I want to know when we make an account in WES, the reference number is allotted after the fee is paid to WES. Do we need to share this reference number to university when documents are sen directly from University to WES.
