Suggest that you start a spreadsheet from time you landed and each time you travel abroad or even within Canada make an entry in that such as date left, where visited , reason for travel, address stayed and date returned. In case you stayed multiple places during one trip, you can note each place down too.
Believe me that a few years down the road , when you have to apply to renew PR or apply for citizenship, this spreadsheet will be a lifesaver because nowadays many countries don't stamp passports on entry or exit.
I would advise you that there is exit data ( through scan of your boarding pass at security or airline data) which is kept with relevant agencies but in normal cases, IRCC would not have access to it. But it is there for sure and available to them if they really find a need for it .
Some of the things IRCC looks for to verify if you have stayed including but not limited to : health records ( visit to doctors etc), rental agreements, utility bills, memberships, employment records and of course entry/exit stamps.

Oh god.. what is so sensitive about exit information to be safeguarded that way? Is there a hidden agenda for Canada to not be transparent with entry and exits? In US, one can simply pull their travel history online from cbp website by giving first name, last name, passport number, country of issue and date of birth. One can print that report as pdf too. Why Canada isn't introducing such a simple thing? US gets exit purely from airline check-in and doesn't have anything special to capture.

It sounds too cumbersome to maintain documents like that for four or five years.! This can help them stop frauds too.
