I applied for a Canada TRV on 6th April and got a PPR on 12th April. In the application I had mentioned I need to go to Canada in the middle of May. However now I may need to go in the last week of April. I live in Michigan and will be driving across the border. I hope to receive my passport back from VAC soon. Can someone answer the following questions for me?
1) What will be the validity of the visa? Will it start from the day it is issued or the day I mentioned in the application form?
2) I had mentioned I will be visiting for work but is it possible to do a trip where I can visit Toronto over the weekend, do my work in Kitchener on a Monday and then drive back to Michigan?
3) Will multiple short stays over a few months raise queries?
4) Do I need to tell the officer at the port of entry that I have a PR application in process? What else would I need to tell him/her on a visit like this where I'll be driving instead of flying?
