Hi could I please have advice. I have an ITA and need to upload lots of documents. I have some questions about each of them. Could you all give me some pointers? Thanks in advance.

1. Firstly, a general one, if I need to put a LOE do I put that in with the documents that I’m sending or in the optional documents placeholder?

2. Probably answered before, but I’m trying, in the 84 days I have left to submit my application, to have the required funds for my family size, $24000 approx. So my questions are:
a. Is it acceptable that I only have the
required funds saved last minute I.e.
did I need to have them for a couple
of months.
b. My common in law partner and I have
quite a lot of debt probably $34000
which we can’t pay off before we
submit, does that count against us I.e
we really have negative funds.
c. However, we do plan on selling our
house and using the equity in that to
pay the debt and we’ll have money
left over from the sale, can/should we
put in an LOE explaining this?
d. Does my partner have to give his
bank account statements as we do
not have any joint accounts?
e. My dad lives in Canada and we are
going to live with him rent&bills free
would this appease those looking at
our application in relation to our
debts?

3. I’m confused about the photos we need
to send, it says they have to follow PR
card specifications but then everyone
talks about getting the 35 x 45 mm but I
thought it was 50 x 70 mm?

4. Considering we have large debts, would
it be a good idea to decline the ITA and
sell our house first and wait on another
ITA? We have a CRS score of 473.

5. Lastly, my half sister bumped our CRS
score up, I’ve ordered my birth
certificate (long version), I don’t know if
our dad is named on mine, he is on hers.
Has anyone been in that same situation
and how did they prove sibling
relationship?

Again, I really appreciate the advice.

1. Upload it under Client information.

2a. They prefer to see a consistent balance over the last six months.
2b. Debt needs to be disclosed. You don't have to be debt-free but they want to see general financial sufficiency.
2c. Your funds need to be liquid; home equity doesn't count.
2d. Not clear what you're asking. You should include all of your bank accounts.
2e. No.

3. It's 50x70. The other size is for temporary visas.
4. You could and that score is certainly competitive, but of course there are no guarantees you will get another ITA.
5. You need some sort of legal documents to prove your relationship.

Hi thank you for your reply.

2d. My common in law partner and I do not have any joint bank accounts. The eAPR indicates that I only need to show my bank accounts for the last six months. Do I need to show my CIL partner’s bank accounts also.

3. My birth certificate has come back and my dad isn’t named on it. Therefore, it does not prove that my sister and I share the same father. Does anyone have experience/knowledge of how to prove half sibling relationship other than DNA.
