E-cas- In Process- No medical yet

Dear all,

I am May Applicant.
Application received -11 may 2012
AOR received - 31 august 2012.
Ecas status- In Process- "We started processing your application on 18 Dec -2012.
Medical - Not Yet.

I add my spouse name after AOR. This is going to delay my Processing. What is the reason they make delay for the next step. I am little worried.


Have anybody CEC applicant's got the same issue and get Medical request after some time.


Please HELP.....

Hi, I am in a similar situation, though I've waited only 10 days or so, but no MR yet (my ECAS changed to 'In process since January 11th')
For you I can see it is a month already, though there was a long break for the Christmas holidays.
I remember one of the May applicants had to wait about 10 days or so, before getting his MR, he was also very worried in the interim, but it all
worked out.
Let's hope you will get yours soon.

Some of the March Candidate also same issue. But Still they didn't get Medical request.

Let's Hope we will get very soon .

I think we have to be patient, I've read on this forum, that documents and background check by CIC before they issue the MR could take quite some time in some cases.
Hopefully we'll get it soon, but we have to be ready to wait. It is a slow process, the good part is that time is always going, so while we are busy with our lives this process moves forward.

Well it seems you've been waiting for a long time, I think you'll very likely get it soon.
I've read here on the forum that sometimes they do the documents/background checks and it could take some time (about 3 month or more).
Since you are nearing that time frame, I am hoping that you will progress to the next step soon!

I think sometimes it takes longer for some then for the others.

Hi guys, since we are all in a similar situation, let's reply to this thread if we get any updates (hopefully soon) with out timeline, so that others could see.
I am really hoping the delay will be on the order of a month of a couple of months, but we can only hope and wait.

there is nothing we can do I think.
No updates for me either. I am thinking my case went into a background check or something, and those checks probably take time, so I think it might stay 'in process' for 3 month or so, that seems to be the time frame in which CIC does it steps.
So nothing to worry about yet. It's been only a month for me, some people are waiting more.
let's hope it will all come through soon! stay positive

I am still waiting, since January 11th my case is in process.
I guess, it can be like that for a long time, nothing we can do, just wonder if anyone in the similar situation already got their MR.

Good news to everybody.
I got reply from cpp-Ottawa. They sent my medical forms Feb 20, 2013 to my Representative e-mail id. He is out of Country.

Everybody will get there Medical very soon.
