Duration of expected study while renewing(Urgent)

Hello guys..
I am currently studying on my 1st year at MUN.While applying for extending study permit,i have to fill in the duration of expected study.The form is not accepting any date less than today.So,is it okay of i submit today's date as the start of expected study?

Yes it's fine. I've renewed my study permit 3 times in the past and in doubt just submit an explanation letter saying that you have already been studying a year and that the system does not allow you to enter a date prior to the today's date. Might be useless to say it but better safe than sorry I guess

The dates are mentioned in LOA.
So don't worry.
