my PGWP is expiring Jun 29 2016. Abt 30 days - Next month.

I am thinking whether I shud extend it or sit tight for PPR.

I can extend it until Feb 2017 as they gave me early expiry due to old passport expiring on Jun 29 2016.

Any suggestions ppl?

I would go for an extension just to be on the safe side, I wont risk waiting for PPR. Will give mental peace.

COPR- Confirmation of Permanent Residence. It is a document Sent along with your PP after stamping.

Hi choprakart,

After COPR you will officially become a PR, you can then update your SIN using your signed COPR and work legally without a work permit.

Since your work permit is expiring soon. It may be safe to renew it. The time from PPR to COPR may take one or two weeks, since you need to mail your passport after PPR to VO to get an immigration visa stampped. And the VO need to mail passport back to you.
