DUI in US makes inadmissible or not ?

Hi, I am a US Citizen. I am coming to Canada for work. I have recently been summoned by court for DUI (Blood Alcohol Content of 0.09 and is charged with Operating While Intoxicated )in Michigan. This is first DUI for me.
My concern is that,
if this makes me inadmissible to Canada as One of my friend told me ?

If you are convicted, yes.

thanks but Not convicted yet , but visiting Canada before appearing in the court. At this time I am admissible or not ?
