4 months to process. Applied November 2013 for my wife at UAE Embassy Manila.

No, never got request. Sent application for Spousal Sponsorship, tried to obtain Clearance before app. sent but could'nt. Sent app. with explanation, that was in the process. I believe good for 1 year.

Sa akin parang 2 weeks lang tapos kuha ulit ako last month kasi nag expire na 3 days na lang... Hooe it helps...

I guess if you were here in UAE after they launch the emirates ID system where they digitally collect your finger prints whne you apply for residency then it should not take long bcz in that case if you apply from iside the UAE you will get on the same day.If this is the case and if you know someone who can apply on behalf then try it this way. Otherwise if you need to send your finger prints then yah for sure it will take few months

My wife tried that route, police told her friend wife no longer in country can't give PCC.We had to apply through Embassy in Manila, still have'nt received PCC. Been almost 4 months now.

I am not sure but try another time at another police station, It's redicilious to make people suffer while they can do it in few clicks.
