I am currently going through the application to apply to sponsor my spouse from inland in Canada. He is from Spain. My question is does it affect my eligibility to sponsor him if I also have a 5 year residency in Spain. I have never worked there and just had the residency so I could stay for longer periods of time to be able to be together.
