I assume that if I get an LMIA and notify IRCC, it won't speed up the process of approving my PR and landing in Canada.
But what about dual intent?
Dual intent allows foreign nationals to apply for both a PR and a temporary work visa at the same time.

Granted that I can find a company to sponsor me, do you think this gives me a higher chance of making it to Canada before the end of this year, especially via the Global Talent Stream?
GTS applications were typically processed in 10 business days before COVID, but I have no idea how long it takes now.
I also wonder about the refusal rate. I don't live in my home country anymore so I won't get many points for "the applicant has retained ties in their home country". Living abroad + PR intent + non-essential job in IT = high chance of refusal?
