DS 160 QUESTION

Hi,

I have COPR and I am planning to go to India for H1B stamping which is dropbox only with no interview.

I am planning to land in canada before going to India, what should my answer be to the question in DS160 whether I hold the permanent residence of any other country?

You can answer it as yes (as of the date you submit your passport) or no (as of the date you submit DS160). Either is okay.

Submit your DS160 after you finish your landing. Just mention that you are PR as you’ve already landed. It is absolutely okay to submit ds160 after scheduling interview/drop box.
