Gents,

I submitted my Quebec application 3 years ago and provided 2 work certificates from 2 different companies (5 years and 1 year) , now they ask me to provide proof of work experience for both companies.

I can get proof for the company where I had been working for 5 years but I cannot provide any proof for the second company (1 year).

can I ask the immigration to drop the document for the second company and to consider only my 5 years experience?

many thanks

You cannot ask them to drop the document, Is it that you dont have proof that you have worked there or the company cannot provide you with letters? Please shed more light on this so that we can offer advice correctly.

Many thanks for your response.

things are little bit complicated for somebody to understand unless he is living in Saudi Arabia...
In Saudi Arabia especially before 4-5 years you could work with a company without any work permit or authorization. there is no retirement or social contribution fee for foreigners working in Saudi Arabia. I was one of million of people working like that! at that time I had never thought about work permit or any authorization (by the way there are also no TAXES in Saudi Arabia).... bref there is no way to obtain any proof of my work experience.

This is a very though one as you must provide evidence for all document to show that you worked for the company

I had a similar situation where in my company was acquired so I could n't provide the experience letter rather I reached out to my CEO and requested if I can give his reference & then wrote a letter to CIC explaining the situation & they accepted my experience.

I hope you do have payslips where you were working, attach the same with the reference letter from one of your colleague describing your roles & responsibilities.
