Sure - provided you have the right license and don't work more than 20 hours a week while studying.

However it's not a good job. Taxi drivers typically make less than minimum wage per hour. So you would be better off finding a different job.

I can't help you with the job.

Yes - authorities do sometimes spot check hours worked. If you don't want to jeopardize your future in Canada, stick to the law and don't work more than 20 hours a week.

you can do any job while on study permit for max of 20 hrs per week during studies. It all depends on different job requirements....as scylla said

no u cannot do any job there r restrictions on working in health services, secondary primary school teaching, sex trade and child care these restrictions can be found on ur study permit. other than those u are free to work anywhere. sorry couldnt resist just being a pain and politically correct.

Yes you are right and i think he is aware of the conditions written on his/her study permit and i hope he is qualified enough to inderstand those conditions...BTW thanks for the awareness

Get possible warm clothes you can as temp in winnipeg usually goes under -20...so get prepared extra..Good luck For your new life in Canada
