Smilin' Andrea Hacke....I don't even sound like a pirate! I guess I'm just some ol' Skivvy working in the kitchen - just like at home! Lol

Very topical as I am currently trying to sort out pirate costumes for my boy's first Canadian Halloween, it's very hard to explain to two 3yr olds that they have to wait another 6+weeks before they can use the....if I finish making them by then!!!

lol, just realised your in Edmonton Canooknic, my hubby spent 10 years here in the Uk, in Staffordshire, he is from Edmonton orginaly, cant wait, wish i could be there for halloween, that and christmas are my 2 fav holidays.

Christmas will be awesome too, my dad and his wife are coming over from England, my brother and his girlfriend and coming down from Yellowknife and we're all going skiing in BC for 4 days. I will end up spending most of my time looking after the boys, but hopefully I'll get down a couple of slopes.

We've settled just outside of Edmonton in Stony Plain - being too close to West Ed Mall would be too dangerous for me and our bank balance!

Are you settling in Edmonton when you get here?

yeah we are going to be staying with my hubbys parents at first till we get a place, they live not far from West Ed, but got to admit I do love walking around there lol. we want to stay around there if possible as my friends live there as wll as family, hubby works at a firm in the NW so not to far to travel
