I need some info on downtown Toronto, specifically along Yonge St, Eaton Center, how is it like living in that area? Are there still jobs available even those survival ones considering its in the city center with lots of immigrants? How about renting an apartment while having 3 kids, how will they go to school within those areas?
I really wanted to stay in downtown despite being congested, noisy, we just have our own preferences, we wanted everything to be just within walking distance as we don't want to ride the bus.
Someone suggested us not to stay in downtown but instead in Midtown, but we're thinking we might still end up working in downtown while renting an apartment in Midtown, so still we need to commute.
I also understand that rent along those areas are expensive but then we're thinking it's still the same if we have to commute.
