Doubts in Filling the forms

Hi All,
Currently I am busy with filling my Immigration forms, I have one doubt can any one give me genuine reply please.

My doubt is – when I was filling the form I am getting some tables which I need to keep blank, my question is should I keep the all columns as blank or should I fill each and every where “N/A”.

Also another doubt is, out of 5 column table only 3 columns are only applicable for me to fill, so what shall I do should I keep that area as blank or should I still put “N/A”.\

Don't leave any question blank...if it does not apply to you indicate N/A. If not possible, print and write N/A by hand. If you leave any unanswered question, your application will be returned to you as incomplete. Mandie

This is exactly what the form says, "If any section is not applicable to you, write “N/A” (“Not applicable”). If your application is incomplete it will be returned to you, and processing will not begin. Do not leave any blanks."

Now, when you fill 3 rows out of 5 of a table, will it be considered as section 'Not applicable'?

I am also in process of filling the form and looking carefully at first few words, If any section is not applicable to you, i put N/A only in sections which were completely empty(not applicable). If in any section i entered at least some information, i did not put N/A.

Is my approach correct? Please suggest...

I suggest you stil lput N/A for the last 2 rows for CIC to know there is no additional info. if single applicant, surely you don't want CIC to guess whether indeed you have for eg a spouse or common-law partner. from my own experience, on pg 2 of the application form, where u have to give details of family members, I only put N/A on each row for family names and left the rest blank...I panicked, but the N/A indicated I had no info for that section, CC charged confirmed my applcation was complete. I don't think it takes anything away from you if u indicate N/A on the last 2 rows even when u filled the fiirst 3. Mandie

But take a look at the Additional Family Information form. Say you are single and the only applicant. I think you should indicate N/A at the spouse row (even though u have given some info in this section).

Actually its most safe not to put N/A in the Additional Family Info form. Reason being for every section (be it Spouse or children) not applicable, you need to sign a declaration which, above everything else, signifies whether you have one or not.

I think the main question here is how one interprets the 'Not Applicable' thing, whether it stands for a complete section not being applicable or for an empty column in a section.
