i have the same situation as Enas (applied via MPNP as well). Just got our visa and we're thinking on where to land. I'm thinking of Calgary as our POE. I want to check with you guys if that's possible.
Unless you are already in Canada or can arrive in Calgary airport directly from an international destination, your POE would not be in Calgary.

From your previous posts, I suppose you are a filipino. Therefore if you are flying with Philippines Airlines directly to Canada, your POE could only be Vancouver.

Yes. You will land at your first port of entry into Canada. It doesn't matter where your final destination is. For a PNP applicant, you need to abide by the restrictions of your program, but that has no effect on your ability to land anywhere.

Yes you can land at Montreal and complete your landing formalities there, as long as you have connecting flights (i.e. provide the address in Toronto to immigration officer).

You will have to go through customs at Montreal, so you must collect your bags and check them in again for the domestic flight, so not sure if 1.15 hours is enough. How about driving to Toronto in a rental car? Enjoy the scenery 8)

You mean the immigration and customs process? Over here even ministers cannot expedite these processes.

But if you are booking the whole journey (till Toronto ) through same airline, then if you miss connecting flight, the airline will provide you accommodation till next flight.

It is normal practice for them to rebook you on the next available flight without charge. Note that they may not pay for accommodations or food though, depending upon the specifics of the tariff rules for your ticket. Everyone understands that customs/immigration processing time can vary.

There's very little chance you would make a connection through YUL with 1:15 AND being required to deal with immigration (which is likely to take 15 minutes if you have no B4/B4A forms and just one person landing with nothing complicated AND nobody else waiting for service.)

Guys,
I have applied for FSW2013. And I got pass requested. My destination is Ottawa but can I land in Ottawa, while I am living in Montreal and give my address in Montreal as the mailing address for PR card?
Or
can I land in toronto and give them the address of my friend who is living in Toronto?
Or land in ottawa and give the address in Toronto?
What is your ideas?
Thank you
