Doubt regarding re entry to canada

I’m currently in India and I have my flight to canada in 10 days. I have my work permit with me but I don’t have TRV but I have my student visa stamp( expiry is Apr-2025) on the passport. Will I be able to re enter Canada?

Did you get the student permit while in Canada? Are you a new student or returning student? If applying for a study permit from abroad you only get your study permit when you get enter Canada so you likely have a TRV stamped in your passport not a study permit.

You need a valid TRV to board a plane to Canada.

You finished your studies though and appear to have a PGWP now. When was .your study permit scheduled to end? Your TRV normally shod have ended at the same time as long as you didn’t apply for any study permit extensions.

my student visa is expiring in 2025. I had a 3 year program when I got in Canada but then I changed it to a 2 year program. So my studies has been completed way before my student visa expires. And now as I have PGWP I just want to make sure that I can re enter Canada with the same or I need to get a TRV.

You may still have a valid TRV. What does the stamp you received to get to Canada say? There should be a date. Normally the TRV that you are granted coincides with your study permit expiry.
