In the IMM 1294 form I have doubt

In the second page,

there is field

The Cost of My Studies Will be
Tution | Room and Board | others


The cost they have asked is for one year or Two years?
My course duration is two years.

I have arranged financial statements and loan only for one year as said in the checklist. So, if the fill the first year amount I have, in the next field

FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY. Is it good enough?

because
CHC consider 1year fees and expenses as ''cost of studies'
my 5 friends are already at york university they told me this. they all r from pak
manager of HR consultants fsd is my uncles friend ,,he told me that there should be 1 year fees and expenses
I have searched on this forum and one guy said HE EMAILED CHC many times to ask about this issue and they atlast they replied that there should be 1 year fees and expn

1. I have exactly the same sources with different names and I am told it's 2 years (full length of course) fee. If you go through Instruction guide for SP, it doesn't mention 1 year fee as cost of studies. Plus I have the filled forms of my friends and all mentioned full term fee and expenses (Sun Consultants, Almas Consultant,allison's consultants).

2. You can show the minimum bank statement to cover the expenses of 1 year fee + 1 year expenses (10000cad) + others (3000cad).

Quote: Students are required to demonstrate financial sufficiency for only the first year of studies, regardless of the duration of the course or program of studies in which they are enrolled. In other words, a single student entering a four-year degree program with an annual tuition fee of $15,000 must demonstrate funds of $15,000 to satisfy the requirements, and not the full $60,000 which would be required for four years. Officers should be satisfied though that the probability of funding for future years does exist

Obviously its full length fee and cost. I have my brothers' forms with me and it is mentioned for the full duration. And he is in Canada now.

You are probably confusing it with the bank statement. Bank statement should be for 1 year expenses and tuition.

This question has nothing to do with your bank statement it is a simple question asking the cost of your studies.

I mentioned Fees for 1 year in the form as per LOA. My friends did same.

We got the visa by the way.
