So I did a double degree program (aka sandwich program) for which I got both a Bachelor degree from my University in Brazil, and a Master degree from the University I studied in France. The timeline is the below:

  • 2009/February - 2011/September 2011 >> University in Brazil (1st half)
  • 2011/September - 2013/August >> University in France
  • 2013/August - 2016/March >> University in Brazil (2nd half)

Note: A condition to get my master degree was that I had to present my bachelor degree first. Therefore both my diplomas were issued in 2016 after I finished my bachelor degree in Brazil.

So my question is, how should I input that information in my personal history? What got me confused was because after we add an entry, we have to answer to the question "Standing at the end of study period" which has 3 options: Diploma awarded, Not completed, or In good standing but no degree awarded.

Option 1
(as the real timeline):
  • 2009/February - 2011/September 2011 >>> University in Brazil (In good standing but no degree awarded)
  • 2011/September - 2013/August >>> University in France (In good standing but no degree awarded)
  • 2013/August - 2016/March >>> University in Brazil (degree awarded)
Pros: it matches the real timeline
Cons: only suggests 1 degree was awarded?

or

Option 2 (both ending in 2016, matching the date both the diplomas were issued):
  • 2009/February - 2011/September 2011 >>> University in Brazil (In good standing but no degree awarded)
  • 2011/September - 2016/March >>> University in France (degree awarded)
  • 2013/August - 2016/March >>> University in Brazil (degree awarded)
Pros: it suggests both degrees were awarded
Cons: looks like I lived in both countries at the same time lol
