I have gone through some tough situations many years back. Long story short, In some ways, I may have mentally given up on life.
Gave up school, gave up renewing study permit, passports expired and basically lived self-isolating for 14-15 years(Been in Canada for almost 20 years now).
Never worked during these years and been living off savings.
Is there any chance I can still get back to society? I don't even know how to deal with my legal status in the first place...

I know I screwed up, but any suggestion on how I could proceed would be greatly appreciated, if you want to mock me, I guess I deserve that too.

You can certainly try but may not be successful.

While an Inland spousal sponsorship (that does not require legal status) might seem like the only real option,...it really isn't. Should you find someone that falls in love with you (and vice versa)...who happens to be a Canadian citizen or PR, that could be an option down the road. but it would be heavily scrutinized by IRCC.

If you were to leave Canada, where would you go?

You may have to consider if `starting over' in another country (perhaps your home country, to start) is the best option.

Since you have been in Canada for ~two decades, it's possible that once you enter a different country, CBSA wouldn't even be aware that you left. Most of the systems that are now in place (The Beyond The Border initiative, for example) was only implemented [fully] within the last ~5 years to track all persons (including citizens) exiting from Canada.

It will be a tough journey, no matter what you do, but don't give up.

You can try applying for PR under H&C.
