Domestic violence charges

My wife called police and has put false allegation on me. Police charged me with CC266. On police arrival, she told them that she made the call by mistake but now on her meeting with crown, she indicated that she wanted to go trial and crown gave the trial date. Does anyone here have the experience of getting the charges dropped in the trial phase. I was in impression that such cases get closed in pre-trial phase only but here its going for trial so quite worried. Thanks

Recommend you ask your lawyer. This really isn't an immigration question. It's a family law question.
