Hi, all.

I just finished my 1 year program of PSW and currently am waiting for my PGWP (applied early June). Im now working part time at a nursing home (with full time hours). Since PSW (NOC 4421) is a NOC C, I am told that I will not qualify for the OINP since my score will not be enough.
(I am 40 y.o and work within the GTA so that also can lower my points).

Can I work another job that is not PSW related but a NOC B? Will it affect my eligibility to apply for PR at a later time?

There is a shifting supervisory role within my workplace and the current supervisor is also a PSW. Should I aim for that role to use for my application for PR? Meaning will my NOC change even though I am still a PSW?

Our other option for a PR is my husband. He will cease working as of July 12 and hopefully he gets approved for the visitors visa and we can apply for a closed-work permit given that they are allowing that for former OWP holders.
