Does your typed/electronic "signature" need to include your middle name?

When you type out your name in the signature field on the forms that require that, do you need to include your middle name, or does it matter?

If you should happen to be someone who obsesses over every detail in an application, it would be best to enter your name exactly as it appears in your passport. Otherwise, it probably doesn't matter.
