See for me, as my profile says, I applied in January 2014. We were married on Halloween 2013 and I stayed (minus the honeymoon) after. I left a weekend here, weekend there until my PR was complete. I told them every time that I was visiting while my PR was in process. Though I am on our original lease from April 2014 (per landlord's request). I don't know where that puts me intent-wise. Basically, if possible, I'd like to do this sooner rather than later is all.

When the new rules take effect, you can start counting* from the day you started living here, which would seem to be the date of your marriage (Halloween 2013). However, if you were asked for proof of having lived in Canada, you may not have much to offer (other than CBSA entry records) before April 2014, when your name went on the lease. As I mentioned above, my friend's years of pre-PR residence were never questioned, but of course I can't guarantee that will be the case with everyone.

*Every day spent residing in Canada before PR counts as 1/2 day, up to a maximum of one year.

Cool but I know it is a bit of a crap shoot as each officer seems to interpret things differently. I'm just nervous/confused I guess. The whole 'residing in Canada' requirements and knowing my rights as a visitor vs. PR. I didn't/don't want to break rules but If I can get this done, I'd like to.

Does anyone know if working under a TFWP or in process under PR PNP also qualifies as citizenship time?

It is all about physical presence in Canada so a TFWP counts if in the 5 years prior to the application at one half day for each complete day to a maximum of one year credit. No credit for any PR application in process other than being in Canada as a visitor or worker during the processing that would count but not outside Canada.
