I want to know that does the rank of colleges/universities matter in Canada? Does the 'QS Ranking' affect candidates' academic qualifications and job placements in Canada?

no, it does not. If you met all study permit conditions, even the lowest ranking institutions will have no affect on the application.
I have read threads that students were refused permit, even having admits from top institutions like UBC and UoT.
