Hi everyone...
I'm faced with a dilemma...
Soon (i.e.: next week) I'm about to send our sponsorship application to Mississauga (I'm sponsoring only my wife and nobody else). I'm currently employed, and I'm also enclosing an employment letter from my current employer (let's call them ABC), as well as the Option C printout.
A few weeks after I submitted the sponsorship application, I plan to look for a new job (I want to seek new experience and learn new things).
Now I'm wondering about the following scenario: let's say I do get a new job quickly at company XYZ (hypothetically, let's say end of January 2013).
And let's say, hypothetically, that CPC-M opens my application in, say, beginning of March 2013, and then let's say they call my CURRENT employer (ABC) to verify my employment.
If I'm already working for XYZ, probably my current employer (ABC) will tell the CIC "no, he no longer works for us". That's really bad no...??!
What if the CIC, unaware of my new job with XYZ, mistakenly thinks that I am unemployed and disqualifies me to sponsor?!
Equally bad, what if the CIC mistakenly thinks that I lied about my employment with ABC, in the application? (presently I'm STILL working for ABC, so what I put in the application is 100% genuine and honest)...
