At the University of Waterloo, you are considered a full time student if you take 3 courses per semester but normally people take 5. Will there be any problem if someone takes less but still is a full time student? I know that the total time to graduate will increase but does it have any other repercussions? Will CIC even allow it and grant an extension?

Hello.Don't know about Waterloo but in York most students take three courses a semester...and graduate late. You're definitely allowed and are granted a permit extension as long as you prove you're still enrolled.
