Does "submitted" on GCKEY mean you are waiting for them to open your file again?

In other words, "submitted" means you have done everything you can do and you are waiting for IRCC to open your file again?

Yes. Submitted would be application status. I have seen other statuses like 'approved' 'refused' 'updated' 'action needed'.

Ours has been "submitted" for 2 months now at CPC-Mississauga. We are waiting on them to review our uploaded additional documents. It seems like 2 months is a long time to CPC-M. Usually they are fast.

I think they are just going to tell me to keep waiting. They keep track of every time you contact them too.
