Hi guys,

I want to know if ECA report of my spouse(secondary applicant) will add points of my express entry application as I am the primary applicant. When i calculated the CRS score thru CRS calculator(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp), it asked me for Spouse ECA report and i got some points but when i checked the other link to see if i am eligible to apply for express entry or not (http://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eapp/eapp.do), it dint ask me about spouse ECA report. So, i am bit confused whether spouse ECA report would add some points to my application or not ?

The primary applicant is the only one that needs to be fully eligible to apply for EE, so eligibility doesn't ask about your spouse. Just because you're eligible doesn't mean you'll get invited, though. Your score is what qualifies you to get invited. If your score is too low, you won't get an invitation to apply for PR.

To answer your question directly, yes, your spouse's education, once assessed, does give you more points. See section B in the CRS criteria.
