They take a month to respond. So yes keep firing the requests for ATIP every month until you get any progress.
It's already slow for you so why not keep trying. Also keep writing to the MP or MP'sand keep making case specific queries. Good luck

so it means it doesn't slow the process right ?

No, seriously, I believe ATIP sometimes helps nudge or move a file.
My experience, 1st ATIP ordered and file went into process
Next ATIP ordered: post test when no DM for well over a month, and then
I get the eCAS updated with DM and an Oath date...
It could be just a coincidence..., but it could have helped (I believe this!)
but definitely did not slow it down

One last question friend

Did u order the ATIP by email

Or

By paper

If you could kindly let me know

With Regards

If you order digital ATIP (just the information on their computers) doesn't meter if it's email or paper, that won't affect the process. However, if you order scans of your actual application with all the notes that might be inside made by case officer, that might affect the process as someone actually has to go and scan all the documents for you. Although, I remember someone said that by doing that, his file actually was expedited as case officer forgot about his file's existence.

Have you managed actually get both ATIPs? I ordered one a month ago and another one in 20 days. It seems the first one is not arriving at all.

An applicant can request ATIP report either in electronic format (Email) or paper based. What I understand if you request ATIP reports within few weeks apart, they club it and send you only one report.

I guess its safe to request report every month to get an update. I dont think it adversely affect your case by frequently requesting it, ATIP report is generated electronically thru share services by an independent department and NOT by CIC office staff.

Dear Turbo, in my case it did not delay, rather expedited. When I was tired of waiting I requested 1st ATIP, before email ATIP reached me, my ecas turned to 'In Process" after 5 months of application and four days of asking for ATIP. I saw a note that FP required. Again a long wait started. I thought they might give it to me at my test/interview date prolonging my case further. I requested fro 2nd ATIP on 18th December. They sent me an email on 22th Dec. that there is a conflict of my requirement wheather I need email or physical copy. Same date I wrote that I am interested in progress, not in email or physical capy and on 24th I got the fourth line about FP request in my ecas - in writing I found on 29th.

So ask for ATIP. Some good officer may have a look on your case.

First around Jun 1, (June 16 in process) Second was sometime early-mid Nov (mid Nov got the DM and the oath date)
So I think it somehow helped the processing, but who knows...

i requested atip on december 5

Earlier the ATIP reports used to come exactly on 30th day. Today I read on ATIP site it receiving lot of CIC related requests and advised all to wait beyond 31 days for the ATIP report.

Like you, I had requested an ATIP report way back on Dec 5th but have'nt received it yet......

Thanks to CIC, due to their mismanagement, anarchic work styles, they are keeping everyone busy, applicants and other departments totally frustrated and waiting.....
