Does quitting job affect CEC application?

Hello. I have a question regarding to my topic. i finished my university last year on May, and I started my job on May this year and i accumlated 1950hrs already, im wondering if i can quit my job now and then apply in the beginning of next year? or should i keep working until i got the ME. Thanks.

Dear msvu,

If you ask me, I will suggest you to continue your job as it will have many positive outcomes. First, it will be a value addition to you Resume. Second, it won't be a good idea to quit a job without any reasons. Third, now-a-days getting a new job is comparatively difficult (at least in my field). Hence, it would be really pretty frustrating later. Plus, why to deny the money that you are getting at the moment.

You need a 52 weeks of skilled work, not just 1950 hours. If you started in May/13 you aren't eligible to apply until May/14.
