Does PR application get rejected if the certificate of qualification isn't accepted?

Hello again,

earlier I had a very specific question to which unfortunately no one had the answer so far however, is there someone who can answer this question...?

Does the PR application get rejected if the certificate of qualification isn't accepted? Or will they just deduct the extra points?

I'm contemplating whether to give up on the certificate altogether but extra points might be helpful anyhow.

They will recompute without the points, so it will depend if you still meet the points threshold without it.
