Does Passport Request Mean I'm Approved?

Hey all,
I'm not coherent right now because I'm so anxious. Today I found out that my BOWP was approved and that I should receive a letter soon with further instructions. Two hours later, I received an information letter on myCIC account (under my PR application) with instructions to send my passport and two photos to CPC Ottowa.

Does this mean I'm approved? Can I celebrate? I'm so nervous!

I believe a passport request with photos does mean you've almost made it!

Thanks all, I just got back from sending my photos and passport. It took awhile to take my photos because I couldn't stop smiling! I've asked you all so many questions and I was really nervous going through the EE process without a lawyer but I got every question answered by this board so thank you so much. Here's my timeline:

February 2 - Profile Submitted
March 20 - ITA under FSW
April 16 - Submitted PR Application
April 22 - Submitted BOWP Application
May 12 - CELPIP Request and Submitted
June 11 - RPRF Requested and Submitted
July 31 - BOWP Approved
July 31 - Passport and Photo Request

I wonder if anyone has been rejected after PPR?

I mean if your passport is ok, you've included everything the letter requested etc. Is there still a chance they could say you've failed another part of the process like background check or something?

One would have to be very, very unlucky for that to happen.

I just checked mycic today it says my application has been approved.

I got the ppr on the 24th July sent off photocopies in the 28 and they received It 30th July. Just checked mycic today and it says this application has been approved.

Still nervous though I want a hard copy of my pr.

Also it states in the ppr letter to have minimum 6 months left of your passport, mine has 6.5 months left till expiry. Hopefully they don't kill me at the last stage. What do you guys think?

One question : Looking at the timelines you shared ..Did you submit your application with Processing fee only and later deposited the RPRF fee? I am also planning to do the same.
