Hi Experts,

I am a permanent resident of Canada with an Indian passport. I am travelling to India in May 2018 and returning in October 2018. my passport is getting expired in March 2019 which is around 5 months from my return travel date.
Will there be an issue if my passport has less than 6 months remaining even if I have a valid PR card while entering Canada?

I tried to look and could not find a correct answer.

Thanks

Likely not because you're a PR, but best to check with the airline you're taking, because some ignorant employee may deny you boarding.

When you get to the Canada POE, only your PR card will be scanned anyway.

Thanks bella. I checked with airlines and they said to check with embassy.
Will there be an issue in the transit airport? I have transit in Amsterdam for 4 hours.

No problems at all.... either in Amsterdam (as long as you don't change airports) or at the POE
