Hello everyone,

I plan to take the course DIGITAL EXPERIENCE DESIGN & PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION at MacEwan University in Fall 2023. However, the course is in the School of Continuing Studies and is stated as a "non-credit certificate program. Students in this program may not transfer into credit programming. The Digital Experience Design & Professional Communication certificate takes 12 months to complete". Here is the link for it: https://www.macewan.ca/academics/fa...inuing-education/programs/?id=SCE_00000001013

Is this course eligible for PGWP? Looking at other forum answers is confusing because some of them said Continuing course is ineligible and some said as long as it's full-time, the university is in DLI and the duration is 1 year then it's eligible. I have already emailed the admission team last week & still waiting to receive answers.

Thanks in advanced.

MacEwanU and UCalgary are both Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs). You can check if an institution is a DLI or not here (Link)

As per UCalgary, their non-credit continuing education international professional programs are valid for PGWP (Link). I'm not sure about MacEwanU. I'd advise you to wait for a response from the Admissions team.
