I have Permanent Resident (PR) since Aug,2011. I got PR under skilled workers category. Therefore,I did show $13,000 CAD at the Toronto Airport. My wife has got approved in her spousal sponsorship. She will land to Canada in Jan,2013. I am going to India for a visit and she will come with me.

I am not sure does she need to show any funds at the airport? or any of my payslips or letter from the current employer?

Many thanks.

If she is sponsored as spousal, she doesn't need to show funds at the airport. She should bring her marriage certificate, very few people are asked for it, but just in case. She will also be asked where the PR card should be sent, so make sure she has your current address with her when she lands, especially if it is different than the one you put on the application (because you moved, or any other reason).
Congrats on the PR approval!

Thanks for the reply. She will come with me. What about my payslips and letter from the current employer which I submitted during her sponsorship application?
