Thats true, I gathered all kinds of proof about my application since We are Common-Law. I sent 2.3 kg of documents and paper works cause they might scrutinize my application because of the situation that I am in.

I made a very strong application with notarized letters from friends and families plus joint lease agreement, will me as one of the beneficiaries, cohabitation agreement, proof of the same address during the entire duration we live together till the present, proof of shared finances, CRA changed to Common-Law, Statutory declaration for the timeline of our relationship, pictures to our trips together, social gatherings and family activities. Co-occupant in house insurance, emails and facebook messages from the time we just met till the present...

It was a lot and solid, genuine, relationship. I hope CBSA will not send me some deportation order in CBSA Halifax.

Carlaganda23,

I don't believe that the strength of an application has any bearing on what, if anything, CBSA decides to do. They are two separate `arms' that sometimes work together.

However...may I make a suggestion?

Stop focusing so much of your energy on the CBSA and what they might do!

You have a very strong application which is wonderful! Give thanks (and your attention) to that positive element and push the fear into the background.

Imagine if you were out of status and had a very weak application, because you had to just throw something together to send to CIC! Now THAT would be scary!!!

You are very lucky. ;)

yes Ponga is right CBSA and CIC are like sisters but they work separately :D

Thanks Ponga,
It was very uplifting for me. I appreciate it a lot. Thanks for all the kind words. You are very helpful with all the applicants here in this forum.
