does my Canadian citizen wife have to go through medical exam under EE？

Hi Guys.
Just want to find out if my wife has to go through medical exam as I do.
She is already Canadian Citizen
And what if she is pregnant before we take medical exam. Will the ME process be held until she can have a X ray scan?
