Does masters increase your chances for PR compared to diploma program?

Hey guys...reading various threads in this forum,this is the impression I got that Masters increases your chances for getting PR?Or does an advanced diploma from college hold the same value in terms of applying for PR later on. All suggestions and comments are welcome, seniors please reply...regards
