I have done MBA in Finance (16 years of Qualification) and currently working as a “Payroll Officer”. My job duties are a mix of an “Accountant”, a “Bookkeeper” and Payroll Officer.

Can anybody tell that under the new ministerial instructions does one have to have a job title of "Accountant" in order to be eligible to apply for Canadian immigration or is it the "job duties" that would be considered regardless of job title. What if somebody does not have a job title of accountant but his/her duties are more of an accountant.

Secondly, which titles can come under skill Level B in reference to occupation of Finance, because if we look at the NOC – Skill Level B titles are of Bookkeepers etc. Does a person having a job duties of Bookkeeper which comes under Skill Level B (major occupation is Finance) can be eligible under the new changes.

Skill Level A only refers to “Accountants” but who would we bring for Skill Level B in the area of accounting.

Job duties are more important than the job title.

That's probably too low. The job duty match should be at least 60%.

:-\

CIC should clearly explain. They mentioned "Human resources managers perform some or all of the following duties". I hope their "some" is not 70-80% match.
