Hi,
1.Mostly No. There may be some trades with co-op and eventual placement. You 'll have to contact the individual departments/ department/ course you are interested in and ask about their on-campus placement policy (if any).
2.No college or university no matter how good, can make you get a job. The chances of getting a job ultimately depends on you. You 'll have to work really hard (if you have no Canadian experience), get good grades, network, volunteer, do co-op/intern and increase your chances of getting a job.
